Hi! I'm the founder of Sewn by Steph and the one man band behind all of this planet friendly goodness!

Everything you see here has been handmade by me, using sustainable materials and practices.

How it all began...

I graduated from university in 2021 with a degree in Textile Design, specialising in embroidery & embellishment. Going from stitching pretty much 24/7 to not at all was a huge shock to the system, and I quickly began to miss being creative.

I decided to start making gifts for my family and friends from leftover fabrics from my degree, which I found also had a positive impact on my mental health.

After their response and encouragement, and realising that I'm happiest when working with my hands, I decided to start selling the items that I had produced...

And that's where Sewn by Steph was born!

We believe that everyone has a part to play in protecting and conserving our environment.

The textile industry is the second most polluting industry in the World, so we have always been conscious of minimising our contribution to this as much as possible.
